WB Offers "Charmed" Star Plenty To Avoid Disappearing Act.
Actors on other WB shows are bound to be less than thrilled that Holly Marie Combs is being offered ,000 per episode in a renegotiated deal beginning next season, the fourth for "Charmed." If the deal is made, Combs will still be running second to co-star Alyssa Milano, whose salary for next year is estimated at ,000 per episode. There is a good reason why the WB is ponying up for the two "Charmed" stars. For one thing, "Charmed" is a ratings winner. But the bigger reason, sources say, is the recent defection of the third "Charmed" co-star, Shannen Doherty, and the loss of Sarah Michelle Gellar and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" to Fox. The last thing the WB needs is to lose another star.
